Fun Tennis Program for Kids Ages 5–10

QuickStart Tennis appropriately scales down all aspects of regulation tennis—including equipment, court dimensions, and scoring—so that the game becomes specifically tailored for young kids.

QuickStart Tennis is an exciting new format sponsored by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and is designed to help children find success from the very first swing. Most kids who start to play tennis want to be able to rally a ball over a net with a friend and learn how to play points and games. QuickStart Tennis gives kids the opportunity to learn in a fun environment. Each practice session is designed to help children learn the basic skills to play the game and to enjoy the experience of hitting balls over the net.

Coach Ed is the Head Tennis Coach for the JV Boys Tennis Team at Sacred Heart Preparatory. He is certified with Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) at the Professional Level. PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teachers and coaches. He is a USTA member and successfully completed a course in teaching QuickStart Tennis classes.

Classes are held at Sacred Heart in Atherton. Map it.
Turn on the satellite view and you will see the tennis courts. Our court is closest to the Saint Joseph's School parking lot. Park in school parking lot (which is off of Emilie Avenue.) Court entrance is on the Valparaiso side. You'll walk under the oak trees.

5–7 year-olds: 1:00-1:30 pm
8–10 year-olds: 1:45-2:30 pm

Cost per lesson
5–7 year-olds: $10 for each class or buy 6 classes for $50
8–10 year-olds: $15 for each class or buy 6 classes for $75
